Nitish Kumar's close aide and JDU General Secretary Sanjay Kumar Jha has refuted rumours of the Bihar Chief Minister joining the Rajya Sabha.
Bihar Minister and the National General Secretary of Janata Dal (United) Sanjay Kumar Jha refuted rumours of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar joining the Rajya Sabha, calling such speculation 'mischievous'.
Sanjay Kumar Jha said Nitish Kumar did not wish to go to the Rajya Sabha and that he would complete his tenure as the Bihar Chief Minister.

“I am intrigued at the rumours that Nitish Kumar is contemplating going to Rajya Sabha. This is mysterious and far from truth,” Sanjay Jha tweeted.

He further said Nitish Kumar was the face of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the 2020 Bihar Assembly Elections and people gave the NDA the mandate to form the government. He said the Bihar Chief Minister was fully committed to serving the people of Bihar.
"Nitish was the face of the NDA in 2020 elections and people voted this alliance to power. His unwavering commitment to serve the people and ability to transform Bihar are sacrosanct. I urge all to desist from such propaganda which shall yield little," Jha said in his tweet.
