Ekta Kapoor's upcoming captive reality show Lock Upp is set to premiere on February 27 on ALTBalaji and MXPlayer. The show's first contestant name was revealed today. Actress Nisha Rawal will be seen on the show. The latest promo of Lock Upp introduces her as the first contestant.
Earlier, Urfi Javed was rumoured to be a part of Lock Upp but she rubbished the reports. A few promos of the show have been unveiled but none revealed the names of the contestants. Today, February 21, Nisha Rawal was introduced as the first confirmed contestant of Lock Upp.
The official Instagram page of ALTBalaji shared a promo featuring actress and model Nisha Rawal. "Bahut hua daily soap ka drama, ab shuru hoga @missnisharawal ki life mein asli hungama! Watch #LockUpp streaming from 27th February, LIVE free (sic)," read the caption.

Nisha Rawal is an Indian television actress and model who gained popularity for her stint on the TV show Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki. Last year, she was in news for her marital dispute with her ex-husband Karan Mehra.
Karan Mehra was arrested on May 31 after Nisha Rawal filed a complaint against him following a brawl. He was out on bail soon. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, Karan said that he was framed by Nisha and her brother, Rohit Sethiya. He also said that he was assaulted by Rohit. Later, while addressing the media, Nisha Rawal spoke about Karan Mehra having an extramarital affair. She also accused him of domestic violence.
