A Nirbhaya Squad team found the three-year-old boy looking for his mother in Bhuleshwar locality.
A Nirbhaya Squad team reunited a three-year-old boy with his mother after he went missing in the Bhuleshwar locality here on Monday.
Around 11am, the Nirbhaya Squad patrolling team of VP Road police station in South Mumbai found the boy near Kabutarkhana in Bhuleshwar locality. When asked by the police, he identified himself as Shubh but couldn't give details regarding his address. The team then took the boy with them in the patrolling van and started looking for his residence and family members in nearby areas.

"The team reached near Kothari hospital in CP tank circle locality and found a woman who was looking for her son. A lady sub-inspector spoke to the woman and confirmed her relationship with the boy. The police team then took her to the mobile van where she identified her son," said senior police inspector Kishor Shinde, VP Road police station.
Both mother and child were then brought to the police station. After completing the formalities, the child was handed over to the woman, he added.
