Nine convicted for 2013 blasts at Narendra Modi rally in Patna

The blasts had occurred at Patna's Gandhi Maidan during the "Hunkar" rally of then prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

A special court convicted nine of the 10 accused in the 2013 Patna serial blasts case on Wednesday. One accused, named Fakruddin, was acquitted.

The accused who were convicted are Hyder Ali alias 'Black Beauty', Naman Ansari, Mujibullah Ansari, Imtiaz Alam, Ahmed Hussain, Firoz Aslam, Imtiaz Ansari, Iftikar Alam and Azharuddin Quresi.
