Nigerian drug peddler accused in Mumbai cruise drugs case gets bail

Alleged drug peddler from Nigeria, Okoro Uzeoma, was granted bail by the special NDPS court in the Mumbai cruise drugs bust case.

The special court in Mumbai under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act has granted bail to an alleged drug peddler from Nigeria whose name had cropped up in the investigation by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the cruise drugs case.

Advocates Shalaka Hatode and Gorakh Liman appeared for Okoro Uzeoma, 40, and argued that he has been falsely implicated and that the "quantity recovered from him is 14 grams of cocaine which is a non-commercial quantity."
