NIA conducts raids at multiple locations in Kashmir

The NIA conducted raids at multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday carried out raids at multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir in a case pertaining to radicalisation and recruiting youth of the union territory by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
An NIA spokesperson said that the probe agency carried out separate raids at three locations in Kashmir in connection with RC-32/2021/NIA/Delhi.
Raids were conducted at 11 different locations- six locations in Srinagar, 2 locations in Baramulla and one each in Awantipora, Budgam and Kulgam.
Raids were also conducted at the residence of Basit Ahmed Dar, a terrorist accused of recruiting and radicalising youth. There is a reward of Rs 10 lakh on him . Basit hails from Kulgam.
