NFL Insider Josina Anderson suddenly splits with CBS Sports
NY Post
Veteran NFL reporter Josina Anderson announced her exit from CBS Sports on Tuesday with an X post.
Anderson joined CBS Sports in 2021.
“I want to thank the CBS Sports team for my experience and time there. I’m amicably moving on to future ventures,” Anderson posted Tuesday afternoon. “I wish all of the talented insiders, anchors, reporters, producers, executives and support staff the best. Cordially, Josina Anderson.”
Anderson joined CBS — mostly working as an NFL insider for CBS Sports HQ — following her departure from ESPN in 2020. Her contract expired that summer following a nine-year run with the network.
She established herself as one of the ESPN’s top NFL reporters during her time, being used on the network’s top shows like “SportsCenter” and “NFL Live.”
Anderson’s exit paved the way for her to head to CBS, and she debuted for her new company in September 2021.
The first day of the rest of Daniel Jones’ dwindling time with the Giants arrived Wednesday, with Jones in the building, in the meetings, on the practice field (although not doing very much) and not at all part of the game plan for the next game, relegated to a non-participant role for the remainder of the season.
