New Zealand vs Bangladesh: Martin Guptill and Ross Taylor will be key as Tom Latham has been named captain in the absence of injured Kane Williamson for the 3-match ODI series, starting March 20.
New Zealand announced a 13-member squad for the upcoming 3-match ODI series against Bangladesh at home. Tom Latham was named captain of the squad in the absence of Kane Williamson who has been ruled out with an elbow injury. Fast bowler Lockie Ferguson and all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme were also not considered for selection due to injuries. New Zealand picked as many as 3 potential debutants in Devon Conway, Will Young and Daryl Mitchell as the trio earned maiden ODI call-ups for the 3-match series, starting March 20 in Dunedin. Conway has been a star turn for the T20 side this summer and has now been rewarded with a chance in the one-day set-up, while Young notched two one-day hundreds for a New Zealand XI against an Australia XI in Brisbane in early 2019, before shoulder surgery curtailed his year.More Related News
