New Zealand could get beaten: Sunil Gavaskar points out 'flip side' of NZ vs England Tests before WTC final
India Today
Sunil Gavaskar feels the Indian team will have more energy and be fresher than the New Zealand players when they lock horns in the ICC World Test Championship in Southampton from June 18.
Sunil Gavaskar differs from the other cricket pundits who feel that New Zealand will be better prepared for the ICC World Test Championship final because of the two Tests that they will play against England before taking on India from June 18. New Zealand will face England in 2 Tests in London and Birmingham from June 2 to 14 which will be part of their preparations for the WTC final against India, that will be played just 4 days later in Southampton. While most experts feel Kane Williamson's team will be better suited and acclimatised to the English conditions, Gavaskar has pointed out that if they lose both the games or the series then New Zealand will be low on morale when they face Virat Kohli's side at the Ageas Bowl.More Related News
