New Zealand head coach Gary Stead on Sunday said the decision to cancel the tour of Pakistan was ‘out of our hands’ and backed his players to do well against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup opener.

New Zealand men’s cricket coach Gary Head has opened up about the eventful Pakistan tour which they abruptly abandoned, citing security reasons.

Stead said that the situation was way out of their hands and back his players to do well against Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup, which will be hosted in the UAE and Oman.
