New York’s COVID-19 positivity rate ticks up — but is still under 1 percent

New York’s COVID-19 positivity rate remains at less than 1 percent, although it is rising slightly, according to new numbers released Saturday.
The positivity rate, when measured on a seven-day average, was at 0.79 percent Friday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. A week earlier, the rate stood at 0.51 percent. In New York City, the positivity rate was 0.85 percent on a seven-day average Friday, with only Staten Island going over 1 percent at 1.41 percent.More Related News
