Auto-rickshaw drivers in Punjab's Ludhiana received an unusual guest on Monday as Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi made an unscheduled halt on his way to the grain market to listen to their problems.
Chief Minister Channi, who was accompanied by Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, sat on wooden bench and interacted with the auto rickshaw owners. The chief minister relished the tea offered by the auto rickshaw drivers by dipping a ‘mathi’ in glass of tea.
