Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the new National Education Policy (NEP) is implemented keeping in mind the requirements of modern and developed India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 12 said the new National Education Policy is implemented keeping in mind the requirements of modern and developed India.
He also said the policy emphasises the holistic development of children, knowledge, skills, culture, and promotion of Indian values.
"The Central Government has implemented the new National Education Policy [NEP] keeping in view the requirements of modern and developed India," the Prime Minister said in a video message while addressing a programme for newly-inducted teachers in the Madhya Pradesh capital.

Mr. Modi said the campaign to provide government jobs to the youth in Madhya Pradesh is going on at a fast pace where thousands of people have been recruited for various posts by organising employment fairs in different districts, an official release said.
Mr. Modi informed that more than 22,400 youths have been recruited for the post of teacher. He congratulated the youths who have received appointment letters for getting involved in such important work as teaching.
Highlighting the important role of teachers in the effective implementation of NEP, Mr. Modi said the massive teacher recruitment campaign in Madhya Pradesh is a big step in this direction.
The event will run daily from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., offering a variety of activities. Visitors can enjoy dance and music performances, hands-on art experiences, film screenings, and exhibitions from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. These will feature folk cuisines, leather puppets, philately, textiles, and handicrafts.
