New CDC Dog Ban Impacting Soldiers, Diplomats Overseas

The CDC is banning dog imports from 113 high-risk rabies countries leaving American families overseas scrambling to get their pets home.

"Hi pretty boy. Welcome to the U.S." Meet Stubbs. Thanks to the Puppy Rescue Mission, he's on his way from Syria to his new forever home in North Carolina where he'll ultimately live with a U.S. soldier who bonded with him overseas. And Stubbs arrived in the U.S. just in the nick of time.   "I’m so glad you got out.  I’m so glad you’re here. Hi baby," said Cynthia Lion, a Puppy Rescue Mission volunteer.
