With the BJP garnering traction from new Dalit voters in Uttar Pradesh, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has tasked Mayawati's nephew Akash Anand with mobilising the youth and establishing a new-age avatar of the traditionally conservative party. Akash Anand will encounter direct resistance from Chandra Shekhar Aazad, who has begun to polarise the Dalit equation across Uttar Pradesh.
