NEP 2020 a means to empower the poor: PM Modi on Independence Day 2021

PM Modi, on Independence Day 2021, has said that the National Education Policy 2020 will be a means to fight poverty in the country.

During his address on the 75th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a means to fight poverty and to meet the needs of the 21st century, as per all its reforms. PM Modi further said that the new policy focuses on encouraging teaching in regional languages. He talked about how the NEP 2020 could benefit the nation while speaking from the Red Fort in New Delhi on the occasion of India's 75th Independence Day.
