The film industry lost one of its biggest gems, Rishi Kapoor on April 30, 2020. While the legendary actor’s void can never be filled, his wife Neetu Kapoor often remembers him on festivals and important occasions with throwback glimpses. We recently saw Neetu Kapoor happily posing for photos at late husband Rishi Kapoor’s last film, Sharmaji Namkeen screening. And today, Neetu Kapoor celebrated Holi by posting a rare video from their throwback celebrations. The video had little Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor and late legends, Raj Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, and others.
It won’t be wrong to say that the Kapoors’ had a huge role in kickstarting the film business in India. Barring a few, almost everyone in their family has something to do with the film world. Another common fact about the Kapoor family is that it’s a ritual for them to celebrate occasions and festivals together. And when it comes to Holi, the celebrations have to be massive! Neetu Kapoor, on the occasion of Holi, shared a throwback video from one of the Kapoors’ past bashes.
Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, little Ranbir Kapoor with sister Riddhima were seen eating, enjoying a gala time, dancing, smearing one another with colours, taking a dip in coloured water during Holi. Sharing the same, Neetu Kapoor wrote, “When we were complete when there was love warmth happy holi (sic).”
A few days back, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni along with daughter Samara and husband Bharat Sahni, were seen posing for photographs at a special screening held by the makers on the account of Rishi Kapoor’s last release, Sharmaji Namkeen. For the unaware, Paresh Rawal completed the film following Rishi Kapoor’s demise.
Sharmaji Namkeen will release on March 31 on Amazon Prime Video.
