Chetan Cheetah, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commandant and Kirti Chakra awardee, has been admitted to the intensive care unit at AIIMS-Jhajjar in Haryana. He has been battling Covid-19; even though he tested negative last week, his condition remains critical. After nine days, there was a brief sense of relief when the 45-year-old officer was taken off the ventilator on Wednesday. According to the doctors, his condition and vitals had improved. However, on Thursday morning, he was put on a ventilator again because his oxygen saturation level dropped to 94. He has no comorbidities. "The only problem is his hand which took the bullets during the encounter," his family said.More Related News
