Nearly 10 crores in cash, houses donated to Tirupati Temple Trust by Chennai woman

Revati Vishwanatham donated the money for the construction of a Paediatric Super Speciality Hospital by the trust with help from the SV Pranadana Trust which aims to treat the poor suffering from life-threatening illnesses.
A woman from Chennai today donated a whopping Rs 3.2 crore in cash and properties worth Rs 6 crore to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) - an independent trust that oversees operations of temples in Andhra Pradesh.Revati Vishwanatham donated the money for the construction of a Paediatric Super Speciality Hospital by the trust with help from the SV Pranadana Trust which aims to treat the poor suffering from life-threatening illnesses. The properties were willed to the trust by her sister Dr Parvatam before her death.
Vishwanatham, her husband PA Viswanathan, and the executor of her sister’s will V Krishnan handed over the documents to the Chairman of the TTD YV Subba Reddy at the Tirumala temple today.
Dr Parvatam, who had never married, donated all her properties to Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Vishwanatham said, adding, she has earlier donated to the SV Pranadana Trust and Sri Balaji Arogya Varaprasadini Scheme (SVIMS) of the TTD.
