Lokesh, a school student from Andhra Pradesh’s NTR district, went missing after he was dragged into the current at the Krishana river near Ibrahimpatnam Mandal. NDRF officials are searching the river for the missing student.
Officials from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have begun operations to rescue a student who went missing from the Krishna river in Andhra’s NTR district. The missing student has been identified as Lokesh.
Six students were dragged into the current at the Krishna river near Ibrahimpatnam Mandal in Andhra’s NTR district. The incident occurred on Friday, August 19.
Of the six students, five were rescued by locals and were brought to the shore. NDRF personnel conducted a search in the Krishna River for one of the students who is still missing.
The missing student was identified as Lokesh. All the six students were studying in the local Zilla Parishad High School and police officials are monitoring the situation on the ground.
