The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has issued a notice to Director General of Police (DGP), Uttrakhand, demanding action against Aam Aadmi Party's CM candidate Col Ajay Kothiyal for allegedly using minors as labour.
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has issued a notice to Director General of Police (DGP), Uttrakhand, demanding action against Aam Aadmi Party's CM candidate Col Ajay Kothiyal for allegedly using minors as labour.
In its letter, the commission said that it is in receipt of a complaint, which shows how Kothiyal has been using minors as child labour for sticking party posters, an act which is prohibited by the CRPC act of 2005 for using children for political campaigns and secondly for using them as labour, which is prohibited under the Juvenile Justice act of 2015.
