The NCB has arrested late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's absconding neighbour in the drugs case linked to the death of the actor.
The Mumbai NCB has arrested Sushant Singh Rajput's neighbour Sahil Shah alias Flaco in the drug case linked to the actor's death.
According to sources in the NCB, Flaco himself surrendered before the agency, after which he was placed under arrest. Flaco was on the run for the last nine months after his name came up in the drug racket.
Flaco's name first emerged in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. He was Sushant's neighbour when he lived in Mumbai's Malad area.
Flaco is allegedly connected to several drug peddlers and supplied drugs to famous people in Bollywood, including Sushant, and was wanted in the case linked to the actor. Flaco is also connected to an international drugs syndicate.
Other drug peddlers who have been held in the case told NCB officials that Flaco used to connect to them through video calls and would cover his face. With the arrest of Flaco, NCB is likely to get many links.
After Flaco surrendered, NCB put him under arrest. He was produced in court. However, NCB could get only a one-day remand. At present, Flaco is in judicial custody.
