NBC News talent seen filming ‘Inspiring America’ special in Times Square

In another sign that NYC is making its comeback, crowds gathered in Times Square as Savannah Guthrie, Hota Kotb and Lester Holt were spotted filming scenes for NBC’s new special “Inspiring America” on Monday night.

The trio is honoring a group who made an impact during the pandemic, including “Hamilton” impresario Lin-Manuel Miranda, NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, and Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon. José Andrés, founder of World Central Kitchen, and Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, CEO of Feeding America, are also on the 2021 Inspiration List.
