Naxals likely to step up attacks against security forces, say intelligence sources
India Today
Intelligence sources have told India Today TV that Naxals are likely to step up attacks against the security forces after the bloody Bijapur attack that claimed the lives of 22 jawans in Chhattisgarh last Saturday.
The Naxal nightmare is far from over. Even as the year 2021 has seen one of the bloodiest attacks by the Naxals, the insurgents are likely to step up their offence against the security forces, the intelligence sources have told India Today TV. Days after the Bijapur attack claimed lives of 22 jawans in Chhattisgarh, the intelligence sources have said that the People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) is planning to attack security forces through non-conventional tactics, such as placing of invisible high tension electricity wires, unpredictable booby traps, use of improvised rocket launchers etc. “The tactical counter offensive campaign of the PLGA this year has been bloodiest in the recent past and they have changed their modus operandi for deception of the security forces,” the sources said.More Related News
