National Science Day 2022: Every year, February 28 is seen and celebrated as the National Science Day to mark the achievements of one of the greatest Indian scientists, Dr. CV Raman, and his pioneer breakthrough of the Raman effect that won him a Nobel prize. The theme for this year is "Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future".
On the occasion of National Science Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to "reaffirm our commitment towards fulfilling our collective scientific responsibility and leveraging the power of science for human progress."
PM Modi took to his Twitter handle and tweeted:

"It is a new era to explore. I never imagined I'd be able to construct robots, but now I'm learning new skills, such as working with sensors and programming various electrical devices to address societal issues," says Jasleen Kaur, Class 8 student of Satya Elementary School, Mohie Ludhiana.
She further added that she, along with her classmates, is learning new concepts every day that will make a change in society.
Similarly, Vansh Kumar, a Class 8 student of Satya Bharti Adarsh Sr. Sec. School, Jhaneri Sangrur, believes that the educational system should place a greater emphasis on science and technology since these subjects will help the new generation to learn and use 21st-century skills.
