The ED questioned Congress President Sonia Gandhi last week (July 27) for over three hours for the third time in the National Herald newspaper-linked money laundering case. The questioning pertains to the charge of alleged financial irregularities in the Congress-promoted Young Indian Private Limited, which owns the National Herald newspaper.
The Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday sealed the Young Indian Ltd. office located in the National Herald building in New Delhi around 6.30 pm as part of the ongoing money laundering investigation. The ED has instructed that the premises not be opened without prior permission from the agency, sources said.
