National Herald case: Former K’taka CM Siddaramaiah, DK Shivakumar detained amid intense protests

Former Karnataka Chief Minister and CLP leader Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar were detained by the police during their protest in Bengaluru over the questioning of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the National Herald money laundering case.
Amidst intense protests across cities over the questioning of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the National Herald money laundering case, Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar and CLP leader Siddaramaiah were detained by the police during their protest in Bengaluru.
DK Shivakumar was quoted by ANI as saying, "It (protest) is our right. We will fight for justice. They (ED) are not taking cases of any BJP leaders, they are harassing only Congress people."
Karnataka Congress workers marched to Raj Bhavan to give a memorandum and complaint letter against the BJP over the ED's probe against Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case. DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah were detained by the police on their way to Raj Bhavan.

Congress workers are currently staging a protest across cities against the Modi Government and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over questioning of Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald Case. Congress workers have accused the Modi Government of running a political vendetta against the Gandhis.
