Sharing details of their conversation with IndiaToday.in, "It was very short because I didn't want to disturb her. I was in London and the call was on her birthday, which was in September. I rang and the line was very busy. I got through Rachana (Lata Mangeshkar's niece) and she said Lata Mangeshkar is on the other line right now, but definitely call after 10 minutes, she will be free. It was very sweet of Rachana. She is lovely and I am fond of her. And I rang back in 10 minutes. Didi took the call and I said 'happy birthday'. You could hear her smile and she said 'thank you'. I said 'Kaise ho' and she said 'thik hoon'. I didn't want to take up too much time. Just as I was about to say goodbye, she said to me in English - 'How are you?', which I thought was very sweet. And I said I was alright and I told her I was coming to India soon and I said, I hope to see you. She said yes. And that was the last time I spoke to her."
Isn't that a sweet conversation between Nasreen Kabir and Lata Mangeshkar?
