
Nashik Police appoints panel to look into corruption allegations against Maharashtra Transport Minister, officials

The Nashik Police Commissioner has formed a three-member panel to inquire into allegations of corruption levelled against Maharashtra Transport Minister Anil Parab and other officials.
Nashik Police Commissioner Deepak Pandey has formed a three-member panel to inquire into allegations of corruption levelled against Maharashtra Transport Minister Anil Parab, transport commissioner Avinash Dhakne, five regional transport office (RTO) officials and a transport ministry bureaucrat. The complaint was lodged by Gajendra Patil, who works as a motor vehicle inspector in the RTO. Patil was placed under suspension over charges of corruption in January 2021. According to him, this action was taken against him because he had been determinedly complaining about corruption in the department despite pressure.More Related News
