Narrative wise, BJP is opposition in Tamil Nadu: K Annamalai

Tamil Nadu BJP president, K Annamalai on Sunday said, “BJP is becoming the opposition party narrative-wise."
Tamil Nadu BJP president, K Annamalai on Sunday said, “BJP is becoming the opposition party narrative-wise because we are at loggerhead with the DMK.” He further said the party is growing fast in the state.
Annamalai was speaking on the issue of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s (AIADMK) organisational secretary, Ponnaiyan alleging that BJP is trying to sideline the AIADMK. He had directed AIADMK’s IT wing to expose the BJP over not raising its voice over matters like the National Education Policy (NEP), or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
On being asked if all is well between the AIADMK and the BJP, Annamalai said, “It is always important that the party’s member speaks what he thinks is right. But here what Ponnaiyan said was differing from the party’s view and that's what the EPS and OPS have given as a clarification.”
Meanwhile, Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) leader Ramadoss has called the BJP the main enemy. “For PMK, the BJP is the main enemy in the field. You can expect those who leave PMK or Vanniyar Sangham and join other parties to come back to us in the future, but not if they join BJP or RSS. It only goes one way, they will never return”, said Ramadass during a party discussion with district secretaries that was held on June 1.
