Nagarjuna has revealed his plans for his 100th film. He wants it to be a visual spectacle even though it doesn't need to be a Brahmastra.
Nagarjuna recently received praise for his work in the Ranbir Kapoor-led Brahmastra, which marked the Telugu star's Bollywood comeback. Now, here is some more big news for his fans. During a recent interview, the mass hero revealed that he has grand plans for his yet-to-be-announced 100th movie. He said that he wants this one to be a 'visual spectacle' that pulls audiences to theatres. He also added that he is in talks with a couple of filmmakers for the project.
Nagarjuna, who has been an inseparable part of the Telugu film industry for nearly three decades, will soon be turning his attention to his 100th film as an actor. During a recent interview, the mass hero said that he wants to be a visual spectacle even though it doesn't need to be another Brahmastra.
"It has to be a visual spectacle, which I need to do and bring people to the theatres. Doesn’t have to be a Brahmastra or VFX (heavy film), but larger than life is what I feel is bringing people to the theatres in big numbers. Of course the other films are also running, recently Sita Ramam did fantastic, and Oke Oka Jeevitham, which was released by Dream Warrior Pictures. Amala (Akkineni) was there and Sharwanand was there,” he told Pinkvilla.
Nagarjuna had a cameo in Brahmastra. The actor received praise for his work in the flick despite the limited screen time. Ayan Mukerji's magnum opus revolved around Ranbir Kapoor's Shiva, who shares a unique connection with fire. Nagarjuna will next be seen in The Ghost, directed by Praveen Sattaru. The actioner, which features Sonal Chauhan as the female lead, is slated to open in theatres on October 5.
