
Nagarjuna comments on Naga Chaitanya and Samantha's split, says 'can’t keep moping about it'

Nagarjuna said that Naga Chaitanya is happy with his life. He said that it's important to move on from Chay and Samantha's split.
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, who tied the knot in 2017, parted ways last year. This left their fans heartbroken. Following their breakup, Nagarjuna had requested movie buffs to respect their privacy. The veteran actor has now once again spoken about the split. During a recent interview, Nagarjuna said that Chay is happy with his life. He also highlighted the need to move on.
Nagarjuna, who recently received praise for his work in Brahmastra, has opened up about Chay's personal life. Speaking to Pinkvilla, the Telugu star said that there was no point In "moping about" what happened. He added that It was unfortunate that the Yuva Samarat had to go through such an experience.
"He is happy, that’s all I see. That’s good enough for me. It’s an experience that happened to him. Unfortunate. We can’t keep moping about it. It’s gone. It's out of our lives. So I hope it will be out of everybody’s life," he told Pinkvilla.
His comments come shortly after Sam's father hinted that it took him a while to come to terms with the split.
Nagarjuna, meanwhile, is gearing up for the release of The Ghost. The actioner features him in an intense new avatar. The Ghost stars Sonal Chauhan as the leading lady. Kajal Aggarwal was initially roped in to act opposite The King in the flick but she opted out. The Ghost is slated to open in theatres on October 5.
Samantha, on the other hand, will soon be seen in the action-thriller Yashoda. It is slated to open in theatres in multiple languages. Sam also has Shaakuntalam, directed by Gunasekhar, in her kitty. The buzz is that the actress is being considered for King of Kotha, starring Dulquer Salmaan.
As far as Chay is concerned, he was last seen in the commercially unsuccessful Laal Singh Chaddha. He is said to be in talks to act opposite Rashmika Mandanna in an upcoming movie.
