Health officials in Newfoundland and Labrador are expected to provide a COVID-19 update at a briefing Tuesday.
The briefing, announced Monday, will begin at 2 p.m. NT, and will be carried on the CBC N.L. website along with the provincial government's social media pages. Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, Premier Andrew Furey and Health Minister John Haggie are scheduled to be in attendance.
The briefing comes the day after the province moved to a modified version of Alert Level 3, which loosens some restrictions on businesses and gatherings.
