Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has threatened Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia for accusing him of corruption over the procurement of PPE kits during the Covid pandemic.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday, June 5, threatened Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia for accusing him of corruption over (personal protective equipment) PPE kits during the Covid pandemic.
Sisodia had questioned why the BJP was silent on the alleged corruption involving Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s wife, Riniki Bhuyan's, company.
Himanta Biswa Sarma Tweeted: “The company in question wrote to Assam’s NHM stating that supply of around 1,500 PPE kits for Covid warriors must be treated as CSR contribution and hence not a single rupee must be paid by Govt. Assam NHM duly acknowledged the same.”
