Bihar minister and BJP leader Ramsurat Rai stirred a controversy with his remark over the Gyanvapi row. He said that “Muslims grabbed temples after fooling the gods”.
Bihar minister and BJP leader Ram Surat Rai made a controversial remark amidst the ongoing Gyanvapi controversy. He said that the “Muslims fooled the god and grabbed all the temples that belonged to the Hindus”.Citing an example of how Muslims welcome Hindus at their home by offering them to wear an Islamic cap, the BJP leader said that similarly, the “Muslims have fooled the gods (bhagwan ko topi pehna diya), annexed all the temples and built mosques over them”."Hindu brothers go to the houses of Muslim brothers on the occasion of Eid, then they offer us to wear caps the same way they have grabbed all the temples by fooling God and building mosques on them. This has been established," said Bihar Minister Ram Surat Rai.
