The former captain followed up his match-winning 84 in the first ODI by hitting his 8th hundred in the 50-over format to script Bangladesh's 103-run victory (via DLS method) at the National Stadium in their capital city. Rahim smashed 125 off 127 balls with 10 fours and stitched a 87-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Mahmudullah (41) to help Bangladesh post 246 on the board in 50 overs after electing to bat first.
