
Mumbai vaccine scam: Police look out for doctor who supplied vials for vaccination camp at housing society

According to police, Dr Manish Tripathi, who runs KCEP School of Medical and Paramedical Sciences in Kandivali, took the help of his students to organise the vaccination camp at Mumbai's Hiranandani Heritage housing society.
In a new development in the alleged fake vaccine scam in Mumbai's Hiranandani Heritage housing society, the Kandivali Police is on the lookout for a doctor who allegedly provided vials of Covid-19 vaccines to the vaccination camp held in the society. Dr Manish Tripathi, who allegedly provided the vaccine vials, runs KCEP School of Medical and Paramedical Sciences in Kandivali. According to Kandivali Police, Tripathi had given the vaccine vials to Karim Ali, the fifth accused was arrested, who then supplied them to the camp. Sources in the police said that Tripathi and another key accused in the case, Mahendra Singh, took the help of students and pass-outs from their institute. Their students were employed at Covid vaccination centres in the city. The police are yet to ascertain who leaked the ID and password for CoWIN portal to those accused.More Related News
