Restaurants, gyms, salons, public grounds and other commercial establishments reopened after nearly two months on Monday in Mumbai, which falls in level-3 of the Maharashtra government's five-level unlock plan.
With the number of coronavirus now declining sharply in the country, a five-level plan to unlock Maharashtra has come into effect starting from today. While the state will be under lockdown till June 15, a few relaxations have been given to the public. Easing of curbs under level-3 category are applicable for places where the positivity rate is five per cent to 10 per cent and the oxygen bed occupancy is more than 40 per cent. In Mumbai, local bus services for the public will resume from today. According to the guidelines issued by the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST), wearing masks while travelling will be compulsory and the number of passengers will not outnumber the total seats in the bus.More Related News
