Mumbai: Post-Diwali, civic body plans another sero survey to check Covid-19 exposure

Post Diwali celebrations, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is planning to conduct another sero survey to check Covid-19 exposure.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is once again planning to conduct another sero survey post-Diwali to check exposure levels among citizens to the Covid-19-causing SARS-CoV-2 virus or coronavirus. For the unversed, this will be the sixth sero survey since July 2020.

According to the report by the Times of India (TOI), the last survey conducted in August showed that around 86 per cent of those who were surveyed had antibodies to coronavirus.
