Mumbai Police to take custody of Sachin Vaze in extortion case

A special court in Mumbai on Friday allowed Mumbai Police to take custody of dismissed police officer Sachin Waze in an extortion case.

Mumbai Police on Friday was allowed to take custody of dismissed police officer Sachin Waze by a special court in Mumbai for interrogation in connection with an extortion case.

Earlier, Mumbai Police approached the court to seek Sachin Vaze's custody to investigate the extortion case registered against him and former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh at Goregaon police station by businessman Bimal Agarwal.
