
Mumbai police shunts out encounter specialist Daya Nayak, other key officers

Daya Nayak was involved in the ATS investigation of the Mansukh Hiren murder case, which is now with the National Investigation Agency.
The office of the Director General of Police in Mumbai issued fresh orders transferring key inspector-level officers out of Mumbai and Thane. On Thursday, police inspector Daya Nayak of the Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) was shunted to Gondia district in Maharashtra. Nayak is known as an encounter specialist. The official order was issued by the office of the Additional Director General (Establishment) on May 6. It stated that Nayak was relieved from his charge at ATS and was to take charge of the Gondia police.More Related News
