Mumbai Police reshuffle: 13 officers from economic offences wing transferred
India Today
Thirteen officers of the economic offences wing (EOW) have been transferred as Mumbai Police goes for a reshuffle for the second time within a month.
Mumbai Police’s crime branch transferred 13 economic offences wing (EOW) officers who were posted in one department for more than five years. This is the second instance of mass transfer since Mumbai Police commissioner Hemant Nagrale took charge on March 17. Earlier in March, 65 crime branch officers, who had served in the crime branch for over five years, were transferred. These mass transfers are being looked at as giving fair postings without favour and giving other officials a chance at executive postings.More Related News
