Mumbai Police took to Twitter to share a tribute to Lata Mangeshkar.
Lata Mangeshkar has passed away but the music plays on - in a seemingly endless refrain, as it has for almost eight decades and likely for many more. She was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital on January 8 after she tested positive for Covid-19, and had been under treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) over the past couple of weeks.
Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar passed away on February 6 at the age of 92.
Following her demise, Netizens flooded social media platforms with heartfelt tributes to the “Nightingale of India”. Among the bevy of posts, Mumbai Police’s tribute has tugged at the heartstrings of many.
Mumbai Police took to Twitter to share a tribute to the late legendary singer. “Lata Ji, Aap chali gayin hain, noor chala gaya hai. Rest In Peace. #EkPyaarKaNagmaLata,” the department captioned the post.
