India Today
The Mumbai Police arrested three men from Haryana for their alleged involvement in a group audio chat on the Clubhouse app during which objectionable remarks against Muslim women were made.
The Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Mumbai on Saturday remanded three men from Haryana - Aakash Suyal, Jaishnav Kakkar and Yash Parashar - to police custody till January 24. The three have been accused of making derogatory remarks against Muslim women during an audio group chat on the mobile application Clubhouse.
While 19-year-old Aakash Suyal was arrested from Karnal, the Mumbai Police arrested 21-year-old Jaishnav Kakkad and 22-year-old Yash Parashar from Faridabad in Haryana. Aakash Suyal was allegedly the moderator of the Clubhouse chatroom where objectionable comments were made.
The police took transit remand of the three accused before taking them to Mumbai.

Earlier this week, two videos of a Clubhouse chat in which participants could be heard making lewd and objectionable comments about Muslim women emerged on social media.
