Mumbai: Over 8 kg gold recovered at airport in last three days

More than eight kilograms of gold items have been recovered at the CSI Mumbai airport in the last three days. Around ten cases of smuggling have been registered.
In the last three days, the airport officials at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSI) have nabbed several accused and recovered 8 kgs of gold in Mumbai.
Around ten cases of smuggling have been registered so far.
The seized items include gold jewellery such as bangles, necklaces and bracelets. Gold has also been recovered in sealed packets.
On the basis of the leads available, the police have begun their investigation. Further details are awaited.
