A special court for Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in Mumbai has sentenced a man to three years in prison for molesting a minor on a Mumbai local in 2019. According to the prosecution case, on December 5, 2019, a 16-year-old girl was on Platform 4 of Vile Parle Railway Station and was getting into the ladies compartment of a local train at around 10:30 am when the accused, Devidas Daulat More, held her from behind and molested her. Seeing the girl petrified, several co-passengers and policemen came to the girl and inquired, after which the 30-year-old accused was immediately arrested and a case was registered at Andheri Railway Station.More Related News
