A major fire broke out on the 4th floor of the Notan Villa building located in Khar (West) in Mumbai on Thursday morning.

The fire broke out at around 10.30 am and was declared a level 2 fire.
After receiving the information, 8 fire tenders and ambulances were pressed into action and the blaze was brought under control in a few hours.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. However, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
The building where the blaze was reported is a ground-plus seven-story building. This was the second fire incident in the building in just over six months.
