A five-floor Jain temple in Kandivali area of Mumbai has been converted into a Covid care centre that has 100 beds with oxygen supply amid a surge in Covid-19 cases.
A Jain temple in Kandivali area of Mumbai has been converted into a Covid care centre amid rising Covid-19 cases in the state. The five-floor Pawan Dham temple now accommodates 100 beds with oxygen supply. With Mumbai facing an acute shortage of hospital beds with oxygen supply, the Jain temple has decided to extend its services and help patients. “Service and donation is the most important thing in life. Our Jain temple has a study room, meditation room, kitchen and several other rooms. Many religious activities regularly happen here but now we are completely converting it into a Covid care centre,” said devotee Pradeep Mehta.More Related News
