Mumbai’s iconic Haji Ali Dargah has offered its premises to open a Covid-19 vaccination Centre.
The management of Mumbai’s iconic Haji Ali Dargah has offered its premises to open a Covid-19 vaccination Centre. The management has also offered Matunga Masjid, Mahim Kabrastan and Green Bombay School in Kurla to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to be converted into Covid-19 vaccination centres. The management is now awaiting a reply from the BMC. “We have written to the relevant authorities offering our premises to open vaccination centres. Vaccination at religious places will encourage people to take the jab in areas where there is vaccine hesitancy. These places will be convenient for locals. We are also considering to offer mobile vaccination vans to facilitate door-to-door vaccination,” said Suhail Khandwani, Managing Trustee of Mahim Dargah and a Trustee of the Haji Ali Dargah.More Related News
