Mumbai cruise drugs case: Munmun Dhamecha walks out of jail; Arbaaz Merchantt to be released shortly

Munmun Dhamecha was released from Byculla prison on Sunday. Arbaaz Merchantt, too, will be released from Arthur Road jail today. Munmun Dhamecha's lawyer and family could not complete her paperwork on Saturday evening.

Munmun Dhamecha, who was one of the accused in the Mumbai cruise drugs case, was released from Byculla prison on Sunday. One of her bail conditions states that she can't speak to the media. Arbaaz Merchantt, too, will be released from Arthur Road jail today.

On the other hand, Dhananjay Munde, Maharashtra's social justice minister, said: "If someone objects to the validity of the caste certificate of Mumbai NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede and files a complaint with the social justice department, a probe will be ordered."
